245 km of perfect trails
In the 5 villages of the Seefeld region, cross-country skiers have for many years found conditions that are unrivalled throughout Europe. 245 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country trails in all levels of difficulty inspire beginners and professionals alike. The range of classic and skating trails is almost balanced, many trails are groomed extra wide and perfectly prepared for both skiing styles every day, all against the wonderful mountain backdrop of the sunny Seefeld high plateau. The region also offers a few special trails such as night trails, dog trails and opportunities for cross-country sledging.

Sunny, perfectly groomed pistes and modern lifts promise pure enjoyment for everyone, from dwarf skiers to professional skiers! 37 kilometres of pistes and around 30 cable cars and lifts are available. At Bergbahnen Rosshütte, the largest ski area, you can take the ‘Rosshütten-Express’, a detachable 6-seater chairlift with heated seats, directly up into the sunshine at over 2000 metres.
The Gschwandtkopf ski area is easy to reach from Seefeld and Mösern and offers skiing fun with a view of Seefeld's landmark, the Seekirchl, where ski stars such as Lindsay Vonn and Maria Riesch have also trained. In Leutasch, skiers can enjoy the Hochmoos - Bergbahn Kreithlift Leutasch ski area, the T-bar lifts at Geigenbühel and the Birkenlift (Seefeld), Hinterfeld practice lift (Mösern) or the T-bar lift in Neuleutasch and the Brandlift in Scharnitz are the ideal places to take your first ‘steps’ on the piste.

142 km of groomed hiking trails nestled in a beautiful snowy landscape await you. In pure nature, it's easy to take a break from everyday life, simply take a deep breath and enjoy the magnificent landscape, perhaps with a cosy break at one of the rustic huts. Last but not least, numerous snowshoe hikers discover little paradises on the Seefeld high plateau and enjoy the breathtaking views.
